This review shows how to make analog 303-ish stuff sound more analog and the fun of randomising FSM infector loops. Cyanphase recorder records FSM infector (+distortion). Then Matilde tracker plays the recorded loop with different pitches and randomizes the loop. MTrk makes more things possible. Play time: 7 minutes. I added a bmx with empty patterns so you can try it immediately. Make sure that the output of the distortion isn't too loud
I listened to the tracks of Mr. Oizo (Analog Worms). I think this is the way to make that kind of analog sounds easier. (and more) You have to try different sounds (save some of my stuff as presets), add effects, and lower the pitch of the recorded sample many times. I don't know why, but if you record a (infector) loop first, and play it with a lower pitch in MTrk, it can sound deeper, more analog. I added MTrk commands to make it stereo detuned, and MTrk 09xx commands to randomise the loops.
Some time ago I did something like that by recording Rubber Duck (a loop) and play it with a low pitch with Modplugtracker. I didn't know much about buzz then, so it is a track made with Modplugtracker. Now I always use Buzz to make music, but I think there is no generator/effect that can make a 303-ish sound more analog (like Mr. Oizo) without recording it and playing it back with a lower pitch.
I haven't made a full song with Buzz using this idea yet, but if you're interested after listening to this bmx, you can download the song I did with Modplugtracker here:

Have fun randomising FSM infector loops :-)
