Buzz Utilites and Screenshots

Here are a few buzz utilities i use, available here Buzzmachines.com Buzz Utilites

Buzzhelper by Namdans

Download Buzzhelper
Handy utility, that will treat your buzz files outside of buzz. You can have buzz open or not. Here you can, transpose, copy, clone, duplicate, multiply, remove machines. Its a scaled down version of chordwizard.
Useful for removing old RnZnTnC machines - See Review - and opening old bmx files with 'beta' machines (hopefully).

Chordwizard by Namdans

Download Chordwizard
Fun stuff ! This is the bigger version of buzzhelper. You can do several things here. Again, with or without buzz.exe. You can do everything that buzzhelper can ... transpose, copy, clone, duplicate, etc to machines. But, now you can also create TONS of patterns using chordwizard's little step sequencer (yes it looks like minesweeper :P). You can select from a HUGE listing of keys/scales, and based upon your step sequencers input generate 10s-100s of patterns instantly .. very handy for chord progressions or 'basic' patterns to manipulate in buzz later. Also, you can use your soundcard's midi sounds to preview the patterns/progressions. Thanks namdans, this one is really fun :D
Alot of features, i haven't gotten to them all yet ! It also has a wonderfully written .hlp file, with a search function.

Missing Machine Manager by Beanie

Download
Read its Helpfile
Handy utility that can help update your gear directory. It can scan bmx files and locate missing machines and download them from buzzmachines.com. Yes, it still works :)

Maccount by BTDSys

Download Maccount
Dos app that will scan folders and print out a .txt listing of buzzmachines used in bmx files.

Buzzscan by WakaX + TBD

Download Buzzscan
Utility that will also scan bmx files and gives text listing of machines, but can also create a 'machine pack' of buzzmachine .dlls that were used in the files, good for sending remixes and such

Custom Seq Steps by BTDSys

Download Custom SeqSteps
For those who want to use 'alternate' time signatures and patterns of varying lengths. Read the helpful, you need to specify a SeqSteps.txt in your buzz/gear directory
In the sequence editor, f4,
Here, step 4 (same as the default step 16). My patterns would be length 4,8,16,32,64,etc.

Here, Step 3 (!!) - my patterns would be length 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,36,72 (you get the idea) ...

uMw buzzmachine midi wrapper by Usr

Download uMw buzzmachine midi wrapper
Read its helpfile
The Midiwrapper takes a generator and wraps it in a new Buzzmachine that has some added features such as real MIDI control and record to pattern with note delay. Also adds another column to machines lacking note delay :)

Overloader by Cyanphase

Download OL
Read about its multiple features
Gotta include this here, this adds tons to buzz

BuzzPlugXP by Automaton

Download BuzzPlugXP
Read its helpfile
Draw Parameters into buzz patterns with your mouse !

BuzzDeComp by Mark Collier and BTDSys

You're forgetting one of the best utillities ever... Scream Waver (perhaps left out on purpose becouse I assume at teh time of writing this it is still beta)
Find it on Hal Dreamer's beta plug in site.
It allows you to draw parameter changes right in the pattern view! Now if someone would only make a piano roll for a midi wrapped machine..... 2004-10-21 by soma (Voted 5 for this review!)

Pretty cool. but, does "Missing Machine Manager" still work?, i think that after the last bm.com update it dosent download the machines list properly... 2004-10-23 by fbnaia (Voted 10 for this review!)

i believe it sill works, since there are 'id numbers' for every post/etc .... someone tried ? pretty sure, it did work here when i tried it out, populated a list of missing machines... 2004-10-23 by noolout (Voted 5 for this review!)

yes it still works well, the only thing is you may still be missing stereo machines - http://web.hibo.no/~mva/board.php?p=38357 2004-10-24 by noolout (Voted 5 for this review!)
