Opening old bmx files that use RnZnAnFnR* machines
This can become a challenge if you are missing the specific vst .dll plugin that you used, say u reformatted and lost the plug
You will need a wonderful utility by Namdans called buzzhelper.exe
Get it here http://web.hibo.no/~mva/utils/BuzzHelper.zip
- open ur bmx in buzzhelper.exe
- add a blank pvst (1.19b) - check the version to ensure its installed
- right click on the RnZ machine, hit copy
- in the destination window, selct pvst
- save ur bmx, open into buzz

Your notes will now appear in a blank pvst 1.19b - ready to assign to a new vsti, polac vst does not have this problem, if u are missing the vst/vsti .dll, your .bmx file will still load
Chordwizard by Namdans is even waaaaay cooler, you can have both of these apps open at the same time as buzz for even more fun using the import song function in f3 :)
I would suggest then deleting all versions of RnZnL* machines, as well as Polac 1.0
and sticking to using the wondefully superior Polac 1.19b With so many wonderful features

command 'replace' would be faster and you can replace several machines at once.
- select all rnz-machines, you want to replace
- right click and select command 'replace'
- select the new pvsti or pvst as new machine
- hit enter and save the file 2004-10-20 by namdans (Voted 5 for this review!) |

| The vsti used with the RnZ machine won't be saved in the polac version huh? Cuz I don't allways remember which one is used in old songs heh. 2004-10-20 by xchaoticx (Voted 7 for this review!) |

| namdans - of course how stupid of me :( ... xhaoticx - it doesn't do that, but you can use a hexeditor on your bmx to get the vstname.dll ;) 2004-10-21 by noolout (Voted 5 for this review!) |
