Very good review thoke, this is two peer machines that i do not know/use enough of ;) .... PeerCntrl - the drawing of parameters is definitely a nice touch (just like the wavetable) ... i don't know much of the mixer gui, xy, or midi bridge .... but i need to figure those out better ...
PeerADSR is just a fun machine ingeneral, and easier to figure out :) 2004-05-03 by noolout (Voted 10 for this review!) |

| Thx ... i am currently using PeerCTRL a lot along with energyXT, a modular VST environment. eXT has a nice piano roll ( ... and some more cool features !!) and PeerCTRL's midi bridge can receive and send all mid CC's to buzzmachines. That's a totally different feel (more visual and intuitive) than using the more or less static pattern sequencer. 2004-05-03 by thOke (Voted 5 for this review!) |

| noolout: peer control's mixer are really useful for playing live or experimenting -- you can wrap up a lot of important control of numerous machines into one interface (and even colour code the knobs). Good review, too. These peer machines are incredibly powerful and are one of the main reasons I am still using buzz. 2004-05-04 by kmkrebs (Voted 8 for this review!) |

| i often do this, actually rhythmic envelopes on filter params is probably my most common peer usage. rather tho, i more often than not do: machine->peertrigger->peeradsr or just machine->peerenv. this way the rhythmic envelopes can be automated along with other instruments via amplitude (like drums/filters). i think theres a few reviews here about it ;] anyways yah, great use for the peer machines. 2004-05-05 by mute (Voted 8 for this review!) |
