mute: I get the same problem here. Switching between Formant/Harmonics too rapidly will cause a cut in audio and little pan'd glitches.. the way i recreate this issue is by switching presets. if i manually flip the switch w/ the parameter slider I can't get it to crash. |

HamsterAlliance: Marc: great stuff :D I like it. If you take a one voice like a solo singer, put the FFT up to full and play with the harmonics a little, + add some "churchy" reverb you get a sort of small choir sound. :D |

mute: Another tip for everyone concerning stereo mode. don't connect a stereo machine to PitchWizard, this'll automagically switch it to stereo mode. On a 1.9ghz athalon xp, at a FFT size of 512 with a Mono Matilde running through PitchWizard, it's only utilizing 12-15% cpu. Still beefy, but low enough to have fun with. Also.. you can lower the Overlap size in the Attributes, this will greatly lower the cpu useage also,.. at 50 (min) I'm getting 4-8% cpu use. Marc: can you make the Overlap size a parameter instead of an attribute? This is what FSM's Tunaman does, and I've found it very useful in the past. Just an idea. Again, thanks for the great machine! |

mute: I can't get over how good this thing sounds. I hope there is an optimized version sooner or later ;] (1.9ghz, uses 20-60% depend on FFT size, 40% @ 512) thanks marc! |
