Lost_Bit releases iPan by mva
Lost_Bit releases a panorama effect: iPan. This effect has flexible tuning options of the output signal. Both right and left channel have delay options too, to create a psycho acoustic effect. *update* Because of some bugs in version 1.0, Lost_Bit released version 1.1. He also included some presets!

Lost_Bit: Arno.KM: about stereo2mono.. you're right :) my bad.. . . and about delay values.. hmm.. maybe in the next version i will do some attributes.. :) 2003-06-04

Arno.KM: Thanks 4 all, I think there's a problem with the stereo2mono preset as I don't hear anything using a mono input... I think it should be 50%L+50%R->L and the same for R. I like this machine and your presets show a recurent problem: the delays are going from 0 to 65535 which I think is far to much even while using the sample unit. Is it a coding problem? Would it be possible to reduce it to a 0-128 interval. I got the same problem using Jeskola Chorus's Delay before I tried FSM's. Thank's for all... 2003-06-03

mva: Thanks for the fast update and the presets Lost_Bit! 2003-06-03

Lost_Bit: Elektroj?nis: yeah yeah yeah! i've designed it exactly for that =) and thanks for sustaining words :) i've sent fixed version to mva.. now it contains couple of presets! 2003-06-03

Elektroj?nis: Don't worry... The bugs come, the bugs go... Worst ones are sooner or later found and fixed or learned to avoid... Best ones are learned to abuse. :-) BTW. iPan seems quite versatile but I think I'm going to use it more for other stuff than panning (stereo spreading, summing and subtracting channnels from each other, widening/narrowing stereo picture etc. :). 2003-06-03

Lost_Bit: Elektroj?nis: arrr.. you're right, mate.. i got crashes and wierd behavior too.. :( i'm really sorry about that.. i'll fix it.. 2003-06-03

Elektroj?nis: Actually I got it to crash two times yesterday but I was tired and not sure what exactly i did. I think first time I connected it to master and did not connect any input to it and started turning the sliders (sounds stupid but I was tired). I turned the lower (right?) delay slider to almost max and then buzz just froze. The other one was something like I had connected rout808 to it and then it to master and tweakked for a while and then I switched the delay mode to ticks/256 and turned up the lower (right again?) delay slider and it started sounding weird somehow (maybe like some bits of the sound was cut off) and then I turned it up more and it froze or something. Sorry for this bit not so precise explanation. I'll try to test bit more today. 2003-06-03

Lost_Bit: IntrospectiveJourneys: send me the module that makes errors.. :) maybe my plug is still buggy.. i've tested it for a long time and didnt find any.. anyway.. i will listen to any suggestions/rebukes :) 2003-06-03

mva: IJ: do you have an example bmx somewhere? 2003-06-02

IntrospectiveJourneys: W0ot w0ot! This thing rocks! Not ONLY can I widen the stereo to my choosing, I can also create "The Matrix" like sound effects (the sample repeat). Perhaps this is caused by using up CPU? It doesn't show on my CPU monitor... Although it does show errors... This is very interesting... I wonder if there is a way to harness this effect... 2003-06-02

mva: Soma: eh... I mean fine tuning the output signal in a way of adjusting the sliders... not tuning the sound. hehe 2003-06-02

hamsteralliance: G0g0g0g0g0g0g0g0!! :D 2003-06-02

soma: How do you tune the output? (by tune do you mean pitch shift?) 2003-06-02

constellation x: Thanks for the plug :) 2003-06-02
