scrapdog: Thanks for all of the ideas. Let me know if you have any more. I'm working on a new and improved sequel to this machine (which will be its own machine) and if anyone has any more suggestions, don't hesitate to let me know. Re: The Lysergia Gapper...I might be able to release version 1.1 today (has ability to specify period units). Unfortunately it may not be compatible with version 1.0 (as it has the added parameter), so I hope no one has released any songs with it yet. Technically, it IS in beta. :) 2003-01-16

ags: Kmkrebs -> Sounds like a great idea. 2003-01-16

matt_simmons: Yes, what kmkrebs said would rule! 2003-01-16

stablepatient: Sweet :D 2003-01-16

kmkrebs: I love Rhythm Gate, and a combination of your new gapper & that would be a wonderful thing -- especially if you could set the gates for left & right channels seperately. 2003-01-16

mva: I meant keep it compatible... 2003-01-16

mva: Scrapdog: Please keep the new version with the current version, so no songs will break. Thanks! 2003-01-16

scrapdog: Looks like I'll have to release another version soon. :) I'll add the ticks, and I'll add the manual triggering. I'm thinking that I could also put optional patterns in like the Rhythm Gate. Actually, I might save that for a separate, more powerful machine, but I will definitely add the option to specify ticks to this one. 2003-01-16

Elektroj?nis: Allmost every timing is nice if it can be set in ticks (or parts of a tick. Sometimes millisecond are usefull too though. 2003-01-15

anomaly76: Thank you!! I to would vote for having a tick option 2003-01-15

piranha: Shaktibreaks: You can start Buzz with any BMX/BMW. In Windows FileManager, find the file you want to use as your startup file & double-click that file to start Buzz. 2003-01-15

DjChihuahua: Hmmm... that thing about triggering the gap... isnt Zephod ADSR not exactly that? i didnt check it, im in school now... but i'll check when i get home... 2003-01-15

shaktibreaks: Didn't see tic-tac's post. i didn't know cheapo statistics did that too! awesome. still, IGroove's in my default template I use to set up every song (man, I wish we could set up buzz to load a "default" machine setup on startup . . .) so for me its easier to use. 2003-01-15

shaktibreaks: Even easier than using a seperate delay calculator- load up the IGroove machine, right click and read tempo from the master, then right click again on the IGroove and there's a delay calculator that outputs the ms for different tick vals. 2003-01-15

Tic-Tac Shut Up: Shinobi: cheapo statistics will work even better for the calculations 2003-01-15

Tic-Tac Shut Up: I like having both options (ticks and ms.. maybe ticks/256?) .. either way, i really like this thing. very useful features. EXCELLENT cpu use. however, i have long dreamt of a machine that would do exactly as yours does but also have a mode where you could trigger the gapper. the attack and release settings would still work.. but there would be a way to trigger the gapper instead of just having it running.. (if it had retrigger, i'd be in heaven).. the percussive possibilities would be wonderful. thanks again! 2003-01-15

mva: Scrapdog: I prefer ticks too, cause they are easy to sync with Buzz. 2003-01-15

scrapdog: I'd like this to be very versatile, so if I get enough requests to add the option to specify the period in ticks, I'll do it! 2003-01-15

Some-E: I hope this will be the one that does it. "Duty cycle" sounds good! I have been thinking why it is so hard to make a usable gapper. Perhaps this developer has thought the same. 2003-01-15

thOkede: Shinobi: use AnalogX's Delay Calculator 2003-01-15

shinobi: It's cool, but I dont think I'd use it much as the gap length is not in ticks. 2003-01-15

thOkede: Mind The Gap! (err... Thank You) 2003-01-15

XionD: And you is whining - shesh ;P 2003-01-15

IntrospectiveJourneys: Wow! Another! We are getting flooded with machines these days! 2003-01-15
