Instead of a cheapo amp or a volume sliding effect to mute or break up part of a song, try using a ringmod or similar modulation effect. Many of these (Kazuya sinemod, 11-OX, etc) have note input, and also let you cancel out the effect altogether. The note input gives the added possibility to produce, for example, a bass line that only comes in when the volume cuts out. - wizenwet |
